Samsung Gear S3 Frontier 46mm Smartwatch - SM-R765 LTE – Verizon –Phone, Black (Renewed)

Items Description

The Samsung Gear S3 Frontier 46mm Smartwatch - SM-R765 LTE – Verizon – Phone, Black (Renewed) is a rugged smartwatch designed for users who need cellular connectivity, built-in GPS, and a durable stainless steel build in a single wrist-worn device. Its 46mm case and rotating bezel give the watch a distinct, tool-like presence that suits outdoor use and daily wear alike.

The Gear S3 Frontier pairs a 1.3-inch circular Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass SR+ protection and an IP68-rated stainless steel body. The black finish, circular dial, and textured bezel produce a purposeful, understated look, while the 22mm band is user-replaceable for quick changes between work, sport, and weekend setups.

Key Advantages of the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier 46mm Smartwatch - SM-R765 LTE – Verizon – Phone, Black (Renewed)

1. Rotating Bezel Navigation

The Gear S3 Frontier uses a physical rotating bezel rather than relying solely on touch input. Twisting the bezel scrolls through apps, menus, notifications, and widgets, which keeps the screen cleaner during use and provides a tactile way to navigate when hands are cold, wet, or busy.

• Physical Control: A mechanical bezel ring for scrolling and selection.
• One-Handed Use: Access menus without covering the display.
• Glove-Friendly: Rotation works without precise touch input.

2. LTE Connectivity and Built-In GPS

The SM-R765 variant supports Verizon LTE, allowing calls, messages, and notifications to reach the watch without a paired phone nearby. When paired with a phone, it can also use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Built-in GPS records routes directly on the watch, which suits runs, rides, and walks where carrying a phone is inconvenient.

• LTE (Verizon): Standalone calls, texts, and data via the carrier network.
• Built-In GPS: On-watch route and distance tracking.
• Wireless Options: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for phone-paired use.

3. 1.3-Inch Super AMOLED Always-On Display

The circular 1.3-inch Super AMOLED panel renders up to 16 million colors and supports an Always On Watch mode, so time, date, and selected complications remain visible without waking the screen. Gorilla Glass SR+ overlays the display to help resist scratches during daily handling and outdoor activity.

• Panel Type: Circular Super AMOLED, full color.
• Always On Watch: Persistent display for time and key data.
• Protection: Gorilla Glass SR+ crystal covering.

4. Health and Activity Tracking

The Gear S3 Frontier includes a heart rate monitor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and barometer. It tracks steps, distance, floors climbed, and sleep patterns, and supports dedicated workout modes for running, cycling, and other activities. The barometer adds elevation and atmospheric pressure data for outdoor sessions.

• Heart Rate Monitor: Continuous wrist-based pulse tracking.
• Motion Sensors: Accelerometer and gyroscope for activity detection.
• Barometer: Altitude and pressure readings for outdoor use.
• 24/7 Activity Logging: Steps, distance, floors, and sleep patterns.

5. Samsung Pay and On-Watch Utilities

Samsung Pay support on the Gear S3 Frontier enables contactless payments from the wrist at compatible terminals. The watch also carries practical tools such as alarms, reminders, a timer, weather, and music storage, which can be played through connected Bluetooth headphones during training or travel.

• Samsung Pay: Contactless payment from the watch face.
• Music Playback: Local storage with Bluetooth audio output.
• Daily Tools: Alarm, timer, weather, and reminders.

6. Stainless Steel Build, IP68, and MIL-STD-810G

The 46mm stainless steel case measures approximately 1.81 x 1.93 inches with a depth of around 0.51 inches, and the watch weighs about 2.2 oz (63g) without the band. It carries IP68 water and dust resistance and has been tested against MIL-STD-810G conditions, covering resistance to water, dust, temperature extremes, and occasional drops.

• Case Size: 46mm stainless steel, approx. 1.81" x 1.93" x 0.51".
• IP68 Rating: Water and dust resistance for daily exposure.
• MIL-STD-810G: Tested against shock, temperature, and dust.

The Samsung Gear S3 Frontier 46mm Smartwatch - SM-R765 LTE – Verizon – Phone, Black (Renewed) is best suited for users who want a stainless steel smartwatch with a rotating bezel, standalone Verizon LTE, and built-in GPS. For outdoor workouts, commuting, and everyday notifications, the Gear S3 Frontier offers rugged build quality and on-watch connectivity without requiring a phone in hand.
