The band is made from stainless steel and fastens with a deployment clasp. Scratch-resistant mineral crystal protects glittering diamond indices from damage at the grocery store as effectively as it does at a cocktail party. The timepiece has a date marker at the three o'clock position on its mother-of-pearl dial. The watch offers Japanese quartz movement and is water resistant to 99 feet (30 meters).In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born.
